You must get to know the Isarco Valley and its white wines
A South Tyrolean without wine would be like an Italian without pizza – unimaginable. As avid wine lovers we are grateful to be living and working in the most northerly wine-growing area in South Tyrol. The Isarco Valley has the ideal terrain for fruity, succulent and mineral white wines. Award-winning white wines full of character have been growing for decades around Bressanone, Varna, Novacella, Chiusa and Velturno. Traditional wine producers such as the Abbazia di Novacella, the Isarco Valley winery as well as many private wine growers are totally committed to quality and produce wines such as the elegant Eisacktaler Sylvaner, the flowery-fresh Eisacktaler Müller Thurgau, the aromatic Eisacktaler Gewürztraminer, the vivacious Eisacktaler Kerner or the fruity Eisacktaler Veltliner. As different as these fine wines are in themselves, the individual wine producers complement one another well. After all, they all share a common passion for the delicious grape juice.
